ABOUT

I found painting in 2014 as I was beginning my sobriety journey. Constantly grasping at anything to entertain my mind, a rainy day mixed with boredom landed me in my car with a canvas on my steering wheel and a paint brush in hand. I felt like I tapped into a different world that day. Time stopped as I entered a realm of peace and presence I'd never experienced before.  
As a self taught artist, painting feels very spiritual to me. My artistic process is to turn on my headphones, squirt paint all over the canvas and start playing with it until my soul releases whatever it needs to release.
Intense emotions, nature, and board-sports are my muses. 
I LOVE how all-over-the-place nature is. It's awe-inducing, terrifying, and super weird. That's the best way I can describe my art. Sometimes it's  dark, sometimes "pretty art" comes out, and I love making the weird stuff.
Art has become my outlet and saving grace. I am so grateful to have found it.
